Seattle Dem mayor was okay with multiple violent crimes in the Seattle CHOP district, including death
But when the mayors mansion was threatened, then the district was cleared the very next day
Police were issued protective riot gear which they did not have during the early days when bricks, etc were flying thru the air
Obviously the police were mere pawns in this situation

When I hear the term "summer of love", I think of the 60s... "flower children"...hippies
The Seattle 2020 Summer of Love was something else...police forced to evacuate their building, or the building would be burned down... barriers with armed guards... signs that said "you are leaving the US"... beatings, rapes, murders
This was an "insurrection" from the first day. The National Guard should have been brought in, right at the beginning.
The mayor should be replaced.
In a way, it's good that this happened. It showed the world what kind of future we would be looking at, if we let the anarchists take over.

The most interesting thing about it was when Trump used it to take a stance for law and order early last month and got bashed by the MSM and his usual enemies.... especially by the Seattle mayor, that made fun of him.
Things didn't just evolve in the direction that proved Trump's position was the correct one, they did so at the cost of lives being lost in CHOP and the Seattle mayor should absolutely be held accountable for all those lives................but the MSM is silent in condemning her tragic incompetence in being able to manage an obvious law and order situation.
And these are the same ones that want to defund the police amazingly.
The same ones with the absolutely WORST record on law and order. The same ones that have been making the ruinous policies for our major urban areas with rampant crime the last few decades.
This is like putting the residents in charge of the asylum. We need new leadership and better, productive ideas that make sense...........not words and actions that make everything worse..........but generate votes.

At one point a crowd locked arms and prevented two police officers from reaching a boarded-up police station in the area. The officers failed to break in when they tried to enter through a different road.
"The scene here is peaceful as hell," said a demonstrator who identified herself as Jahtia B.
"This is our city. I was born and raised in this city. Let's give it to the people, the people who live in Seattle and have been thriving here," she told AFP news agency.
An African American demonstrator, Rich Brown, said he was scared on Sunday when police used tear gas and flash-bang grenades in an attempt to clear the area.
"Today I feel supported, welcomed," he said. "We're able to speak, it's what we've been wanting to do this whole time, without intimidation, without fear."

New video shows gunfire and violence from Seattle’s cop-free protest zone — as police finally moved in to clear it out on Wednesday.
Footage posted by Seattle police showed the frenzy unfold inside the autonomous Capitol Hill Organized Protest area over the course of the last 10 days.
“This has got to be the end of CHOP in my opinion,” says a person running from gunfire in one of the clips.
“I think it’s pretty much over after this. This is kind of a nightmare.”
The Capitol Hill Organized Protest — or “CHOP” zone — was created around a police precinct abandoned by cops during protests over the death of George Floyd, and has been beset days of violent confrontations, including the fatal shootings of two teens.
Can you imagine the press coverage were the mayor to have an "R" suffix instead of a "D". Of course, I can't picture a republican allowing this to happened.

“This doesn’t look like a protest to me no more,” said Horace Lorenzo Anderson, Kiro7 reported. “That just looks like they just took over and said, ‘We can take over whenever we want to.'”
Anderson’s son, also named Horace Lorenzo Anderson, was killed early June 20 in the shooting that also injured a 33-year-old man.
The father’s comments came Monday — hours after the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy in the lawless zone.
Both teen victims were black, according to Kiro7.

metmike: Look at this poor man, he just lost his 19 year old son needlessly for this counterproductive movement. He and his sons death are being treated like garbage by the same people who made George Floyd a martyr. The entire planet knew who George Floyd was. He had several funerals/ceremonies with all sorts of celebrities that were on live television..........because a white cop killed him.
It was wall to wall coverage for weeks. Protests around the country for George Floyd.

After 10 days, not one person has even come to his house to explain what happened. He's had to read about it on the internet. The Holocene Climate Optimum between 9,000 to 5,000 years ago was actually 2 deg. C warmer than this in the high latitudes(where the warming is greatest-warming the coldest places at the coldest time of year the most).
They have most of the world convinced that the current climate optimum on this massively greening planet, with a booming biosphere is actually a climate crisis.
They did it over the last 40 years by manufacturing the crisis with computer simulations of the atmosphere using a busted theory and flawed equations.
Now, they are taking the next steps forward.................defunding the police, so that the chaos and anarchy of the cultural revolution can move forward without law and order restraining them.
