My thoughts as a right of center independent: I know she is hated by many , included by a good number of Dems. However, the good thing from a nonlib person's standpoint is that she's pretty moderate as I consider her left of center. So, with her not running, that means the chance for a moderate winning the Dem nomination has likely gone down a good bit. The folks running now are largely far lefties, folks I could never see myself voting for. My best hope for a moderate winning the Dem nomination is Joe Biden as of now.

Any other thoughts about Hillary's not running? is anyone here dissapointed?

I've said several times here that Hillary was irrelevant. Just glad that she's finally recognized the political reality that most people feel that she is responsible for Trump winning.

Biden would be a good choice, but he has some baggage that made him drop out before.

I can only hope that a strong candidate will emerge from the debates.

My nightmare is Bernie Sanders and AOC running on an independent or Socialist ticket.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples' money.

 Thanks, Carl.

Regarding Biden, are you talking about the plagiarism from decades ago? I'm not trying to defend him. However, is it my imagination or is this absolutely minutial compared to Trump's numerous character flaws? I mean if Biden were running against someone like Kasich or Rubio, perhaps it would be an issue. But against Trump? Please.

Hillary was so "done" in 2016.  Joe Biden would crush Trump, but I fear he is too much "yesterday".  He does have a chance.  If everyone running is a lefty and he has his own moderate lane.  He could do like Trump did in 2016 primaries.  Win the nomination with only 39% of the vote while the other 61% split their vote 15 ways.
