SOTU speech

Tonight, Pres Trump will give his State of the Union speech. It is believed that in this speech he will make an appeal for unification, in addition to the typical subjects, such as the economy and geopolitical issues.

Some members of Congress, such as AOC, are asking their constituents not to watch the speech. ..

Sites have been set up to let people know when the speech is over, so that people don't have to watch the speech, but can immediately tune into Stacey Adams, who wil give her rebuttal  and tell us what was bad about the speech.

Modern technology sure has made things easy for us

well, seems the ohhhh so smart elites have made another miscalculation. New poll today shows Trump at 48%, higher than Obama at the same time in office. After 2 years of constant 92% negative news on  Trump the  msms' heads are exploding and wondering where they went wrong. They thought they would have him out of office by know, instead Trump has the will of the people with him tonite

He should make it a good one because it's highly likely that it will be his last.

It looked to me like a good speech. No wonder, some Congress persons urged their constituents not to watch it.

Of course, good speeches don't get anything done. "Working together" is a nice concept (Hillary used it in her campaign), but it takes two to tango. Still waiting for that wall to be built.

Yes, the media cabal had to put their heads together quickly this morning and figure out their talking points to get them out of the very tight corner they painted themselves into!

They knew that the State of the Union last night was a massive success for the president and it made the Democratic party looked small , Petty, petulant ,and basically not in .keeping with the vast majority of Americans The leftists have had a very bad week. So, this morning the Washington/ New York media swamp creatures had to come up with something.... So they choose one or two moments when those obnoxious woman in white decided to stand up for one of Trumps lines.

On both occasions it was to exalt their own magnificence! "Most number of women in the Congress in US history!! Woohoo yay for us" say the women in white!

What the leftists and the media cabal are not highlighting is all of the times that these a** wipe Democrats sat on their hands or looked like they just ate sour grapes throughout most of Donald Trump's speech.
They look like a bunch of sore losers because they are a bunch of sore losers!

They didn't just look petulant and small , they WERE petulant and small! The State of the Union captured the essence of Donald Trump's agenda! he highlighted his accomplishments one by one and he is making things work for the American people. He is slowly checking off all the boxes, And the left and the Rinos cannot stand it because he is successful!
I hope they all choke to death on their arrogance, narcissism, radical feminism and racial zealotry!

SS,

As much as I appreciate your ingenous humor, the bare butt of Mrs. Waters in the psyche ward besides being R rated is just too inflammatory for MarketForum.

Three-quarters approve of Trump speech: polls

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/428676-poll-three-quarters-approve-of-trump-speech

I noted most of the major media saying the reason for the high approval was that the majority of viewers watching it were republicans.

OK, this is true because only a minority of democrates approved.

But how do you explain this?

"About 82 percent of independents in that survey who watched the speech liked what they heard."

CBS Poll: 72 Percent of SOTU Viewers Approve of Trump’s Immigration Stance

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/02/05/cbs-poll-72-percent-approve-trump-immigration-stance/

“It includes humanitarian assistance, more law enforcement, drug detection at our ports, closing loopholes that enable child smuggling, and plans for a new physical barrier, or wall, to secure the vast areas between our ports of entry,” Trump said of his plan. “In the past, most of the people in this room voted for a wall — but the proper wall never got built. I’ll get it built.”

He went on to describe his vision for the barrier, which he said would be a “strategic, see-through steel barrier” and not a concrete wall.

“It will be deployed in the areas identified by border agents as having the greatest need, and as these agents will tell you, where walls go up, illegal crossings go way down,” Trump said.

“Let’s work together, compromise, and reach a deal that will truly make America safe.”

So if democrats decided not to watch the speech, to hear his plan, how can they know that they are against what his position/compromise plan is?..............other than it's Trumps.

Independents that watched support the plan.

So were about to find out if he is going to work together or just demand things go his way. There will be a comprised immigration  bill passed out of both the house and Senate based on what the broader experts  have testified as most needed areas of inforcement.

Let's see if he signs it or we get #trumpshutdown2

frey if you were out hunting deer and kept finding fish you would change something in your routine. Trump is not the target. You were just told and shown that 76% of the people agreed with Trump. That should tell you what will happen. And you can then tell us and apologize.

frey and mcfarm,

I'll assist you before you start making it more personal. The above statement-s are going in the wrong direction.

Make the points without an opinion about the other person or their abilities to comprehend or what they should do.

Thanks in advance,
