1922Knickerbocker Storm, Washington D.C.'s biggest snowfall, causes the city's greatest loss of life when the roof of the Knickerbocker Theatre collapses.

The Knickerbocker storm was a blizzard that occurred on January 27–28, 1922 in the upper South and middle Atlantic United States.  The storm took its name from the resulting collapse of the Knickerbocker Theatre in Washington, D.C. shortly after 9 p.m. on January 28 which killed 98 people and injured 133.[1]


1977 – The first day of the Great Lakes Blizzard of 1977 which dumps 10 feet (3.0 m) of snow in one day in Upstate New York, with Buffalo, Syracuse, Watertown, and surrounding areas are most affected.


1984Tropical Storm Domoina makes landfall in southern Mozambique, eventually causing 214 deaths and some of the most severe flooding so far recorded in the region.


2006 – The roof of one of the buildings at the Katowice International Fair in Poland, collapses due to the weight of snow, killing 65 and injuring more than 170 others.

What about those Detroit  Lions (-:


They haven't won a Super Bowl since..............................................

.........................................................there's been a Super Bowl (-:

They haven't even played in a Super Bowl.

Their last NFL championship was in 1957.


They've only had 1 playoff win during the entire Super Bowl era. Check out the mind boggling graphic below:

Minn Vikings and Buffalo Bills have each been to several Super Bowls ... but in spite of 31 playoff victoies between them, neither has ever won the Super Bowl.
