2001 – A hydrogen atmosphere is discovered on the extrasolar planet Osiris by the Hubble

Thank God for the nitrogen, and especially the O2, CO2 and H2O vapor in our atmosphere! Life is thriving on it!

1895 – At the Swedish–Norwegian Club in Paris, Alfred Nobel signs his last will and testament, setting aside his estate to establish the Nobel Prize after he dies.

A model for all billionaires to emulate. I'm tempted to make a snarky reference to the President … but I won't. ( or did I ?)

The Nobel Peace Prize has gone to some great, deserving people:

Mother Teresa
The Nobel Peace Prize 1979

Saint in the Gutter - and Saint in Heaven

And recently, it's become very political:

Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr.
The Nobel Peace Prize 2007

An Inconvenient Truth

"The Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 was awarded to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and former US Vice President Al Gore for their efforts to obtain and disseminate information about the climate challenge. In Gore's case, certainly, the award was grounded in his tireless campaign to put the climate crisis on the political agenda."

There is no climate crisis(just a Climate Accord that  is designed to rebalance the worlds wealth.......giving China/India the green light to increase CO2 for the next 12 years, which increases CO2 much more than our decreases........and they get our money too).

The increase in CO2 has been entirely beneficial to life. The last 40 years have featured the best weather/climate on the planet since the Medieval Warm Period, 1000 years ago that was this warm from a natural cycle... and the warming has slowed down recently.

Almost every prediction made by Al Gore a decade ago has been wrong............even as he claims to have been right. I'll do a new page to feature this...........so Mother Theresa doesn't get tarnished (-:

Revisiting Al Gore’s GW Predictions

I am an environmentalist, who actually practices environmentalism. We should conserve natural resources, develop clean, renewable energy and cut real pollution.

Most importantly, we should always tell the truth, especially in realms where people are taking note of what we say.

Where's my Nobel Peace Prize (-:
