Let me introduce you to the most amazing chess player in history.

Magnus has been playing in the world championship this month, defending his long lived title against Fabiano Caruana (USA)
There are 2 games remaining in the best of 12 matches. If they continue to have draws in those games, like the previous 10, then they go into a tie breaker format..........that features much less time.
This would give an edge to Magnus.

Game 11 is tomorrow. Game 12 is on Monday.
If needed, the tie-break games would be on Wednesday.
The link on the first page was messed up, this is the awesome story on Magnus:

Game 11 was another draw. Maybe Magnus is dragging it out to tie after the 12 regulation games, tomorrow is the last, so that they can play speed chess on Wendesday, where he will have advantage.
Magnus continues as the world champ, now since 2010.

" I’m not a grandmaster — far from it — but the position above looks nothing like a draw to me. There are, to put it professionally, soooooo many pieces left, including a ton of firepower, plus a pawn rolling down the left flank for black and various pieces that are under attack. And yet, a draw. Another draw.
" “I wasn’t in a mood to find the punch,” Carlsen said by way of explanation after the game."
IMHO, perhaps he wasn't in the mood to be tweeted by President Trump for preventing American chess from being
great again. (Sorry, Mike, I couldn't resist.)
Mike
All that is a world far far away to me.
I must be missing a gene
, or maybe two.
Thanks for posting this.
And we know that you are right in there with these guys.
