just taking a look at charts of base metals on kitco,  it looks like base metals all want to head lower over the next couple years.  whether we talk about copper, or lead, or nickel, or zinc, etc, etc.  .... of course i could be wrong, but that is just how it looks to me for the foreseeable future.  

this will not bode well for the mining sector,  but it would corelate with a rising dollar.
