A Bisow ?

A horse and a donkey ? A mule.  Why not a Horkey  or Dorse ?

A male Lion and a female Tiger ? A Liger.

A male Tiger and female Lion ? A Tigon.

Almost always … all sterile.

I remember reading about some experiments with African Buffalos.

Really wish I could disagree...

Wouldn't it be nice if he had his eco-savy and Obama's political savy?   Is such a thing possible?  I think not.

But, thanks to JP for the laugh!  It is said that a joke is always funniest when it cuts closest to the truth .  .  .

Thanks for reminding me to answer the question Carl!

Beefalo!   Also Cattalo!

I knew that cfdr would have the answer(Cattle Feeder).

He can probably also tell us a few interesting things about this hybrid. The history of it is pretty fascinating.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beefalo

"After seeing thousands of cattle die in a Kansas blizzard in 1886, Charles "Buffalo" Jones, a co-founder of Garden City, Kansas, also worked to cross bison and cattle at a ranch near the future Grand Canyon National Park, with the hope the animals could survive the harsh winters.[5]  He called the result "cattalo" in 1888."
