Why did the Rs lose so badly?

There are many more reasons than this but these are some of the top ones that I can think of not necessarily in this order.

1. Donald Trump's unpopular, ruinous policies. The War in Iran and tariffs are at the top. Ice is up there.

2. Donald Trump's offensive, hateful and divisive personality that includes lying more times than every president before him combined.  Posting lunatic screeds from a psychopath. Obsessed with revenge against anybody that he thinks might have harmed him in the past.

3. Appointed unqualified people to so many key jobs based on them swearing allegiance to  and adulating Donald Trump. For instance: Pete Hegseth, RFK. Jr. Kash Patel. Mark Wayne Mullin. Stephan Miller. In the end, thousands of people have been fired or replaced by unqualified Donald Trump adulating MAGA people.

4. Donald Trump has greatly harmed the credibility of the United States around the world, doing major PERMANENT harm to our relationships with allies like Canada.

5. Donald Trump insisted  that people pretend he is on the ballot. This is exactly what Americans did. Ds came out in record numbers to defeat the R candidates, Independents voted for the Ds in near record numbers. Even some Rs voted for the Ds. Why was that?

6. During the R primaries, Donald Trump told the tens of millions in his MAGA cult who to vote for. Defeating all the moderate, electable Rs in favor of the Donald Trump candidates. The extreme, MAGA Trump adulating candidates all won. In the general election those MAGA candidates were crushed because people were  voting for the NOT Donald Trump candidate more than anything in many elections.

7. People were fed up with the Rs in Congress supporting and enabling the worst president in history as he wrecked our country and wrecked the world.

8. Blocking the release of the Epstein files because he was an active predator of young women for much of his life, including the 15 years when he was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein and they hunted young females together. Suing the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion for exposing his offensive, predator mind with the bragging about their friendship birthday letter to Epstein.

9. Extreme corruption. Enriching himself and family by billions of dollars using his position as the president.

10. Extreme abuse of presidential powers. Practicing authoritarianism and not a democracy.  Pardoning countless criminals/partners in crime because they enriched Donald Trump or did him favors, for instance.

11. Doing things for the rich and powerful people/friends and focusing on things like the stock market, while neglecting the non rich Americans.

12. Committing treason by following a foreign leader and using the United States military to serve that leader for his country.

13. Naming all sorts of things after himself, some against the law. Tearing down historical buildings illegally and rebuilding them with his name.

14. Affordability and Donald Trump bragging that he stopped inflation.
