Ticks and climate change

I had to chuckle when I saw this story. We have a mega problem with ticks on our property, along with dozens of squirrels that are spreading them, along with massive oak trees and acorns.

The biggest chuckle was at the end when the scientist blames climate change for the increase in ticks and Lyme Disease.

This IS actually true but they left our the most important parts related to climate change.

However, its consistent with everything else they use to MISLEAD us about the current climate OPTIMUM FOR ALL LIFE because of the increase in the beneficial gas, CO2 which is still just half of the optimal level for life.

They want us to think that this is a climate crisis for all the good life: humans, tree frogs, Polar bears, crops, honey bees......etc.

But the exact same weather and climate is a climate optimum for ticks, fleas, rats, bacteria, weeds....etc.

The scientist blamed the excessive acorn production on the warming climate and failed to mention, likely intentionally because he needs funding what the REAL REASON IS!!!

CO2 is increasing plant growth by around 28%, by itself(on average) but woody stemmed plants, like trees are growing more like 50% faster for the reason that he stated...........because they can store more carbon.

NOT just because of global warming but almost entirely because of the CO2 going up from 290 parts per million to the current 430 ppm. .........because it's A BENEFICIAL GAS!

Instead of this story reporting on the massive benefits from increasing CO2 to all trees, providing massive increases of food to animals, this study and story only tells us about how it caused more ticks, which increases Lyme Disease!!!!

ALL LIFE is benefiting from the current climate OPTIMUM!

Yes, we have more extreme rains in many places, a bit hotter heat waves in some places, a few stronger hurricanes and melting ice is causing the oceans to increase a bit over 1 inch/decade.

But this is a climate OPTIMUM for planet earth, the biosphere and almost all the life on it.

Worried about Lyme disease? Count acorns
