My wife, Deb and I have been subjected(tortured) by what must be the worst political ad in history over and over and over.

Somebody gushed a ton of money into Andy Barr's campaign and they decided to use it to run this same ad over and over to ad nauseam on our local channels.

I strongly believe that it's actually COSTING him votes (a lot of them) and costing him money to do it. 

He already has the racist and MAGA vote locked in, this ad just turns EVERYBODY else off

A low bar for Andy Barr and Kentucky’s US Senate campaign

In a 30-second adreleased over the weekend, U.S. Rep. Andy Barr — running for Sen. Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat — is pictured on a farm. The sun is shining. There is a barn and an American flag behind him. “You know what DEI really stands for?” he says, smiling. “Dumb, evil, indoctrination.”

The scene shifts and we see a black man in a crowd. He is wearing a Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. t-shirt and holding up a sign that reads “Stay woke America.”

“Woke liberals spew it,” Barr says, “corporate losers fall for it, but thanks to Trump, America is rejecting that trash.”

It is 2026. Barr runs an ad in which he appears to believe simply being white and male qualifies him to be a United States senator. The president posts a video about voting machines depicting the Obamas as apes. In our statehouse, we are now years into fights by our mostly white, mostly male GOP supermajority to rid our institutions of any whiff of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

The racist spigot is wide open.

The moral rot is deep.

Claiming that he stands for white Christians but calling people he disagrees with Dumb, EVIL and Indoctrinated which is as ANTI Christian as it gets. 

Andy Barr is taking on Martin Luther King, one of the greatest Christians in our history, DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH   

1. There can be no doubt that this guy is a racist. No doubt.

2. Even racists can be smart with the use of their money to fund ads that GENERATE VOTES. This one suggests that he and his campaign/ad manager is Dumb, EVIL and Indoctrinated, the terms that he uses to attack his opponents.

3. Do we stand with MLK or do we stand with Donald Trump and Andy Barr   

The ad is playing on our tv..............over and over(at least 20 times in the last week during programs we've watched), so apparently they think people in this area that watch the same programs Deb and I watch  will go for the racist rhetoric.

I think they've used  catastrophically bad judgment of us and what will appeal to people.  

In decades of watching television I can't remember a more offensive ad.

These people are actually proud and bragging about this racist ad.  

They are right about it Inflaming Woke Leftists.............but are apparently completely oblivious to the fact that it's also inflaming non racists and non MAGA too that ARE NOT Woke Leftist.
