The REAL reason we may never see the data is that it was/is BAD news. Like everything else that Trump doesn't like, he does everything in his power to censor/block it. If it was GOOD news, you bet we would see it.
Trump is an opportunist!
He exploits bad situations to impose his agenda's, always making them even worse.
Like with the SNAP money for poor Americans. The USDA money was always there but Trump ordered them not to pay it because the shutdown, that was already hurting many people allowed him to. This allowed him to maximize the damage.
Or suing the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion because they published the truth that he didn't like. This just makes it worse.......FOR HIM but his delusional mind in this case thinks that his omnipotence can bully the universe with impunity.
In this case, use the shutdown to justify not releasing the bad jobs and inflation numbers(from his bad policies).
I seriously suspect that the numbers we do get from now on, could get tainted, the same way that everything he touches does.
