I've been tied up a bit the last couple of days and not posting as much (temporarily) and maybe that is encouraging  more profound posts than usual.

Here's 3 of them that deserve recognition.  Thanks Larry X2 and joj's comment makes our "quote of the day" thread too!!!!

Hey Mike,

I may not do this every time. But I thought putting these in their own thread would make them easier to find and thus increase the chance you’ll listen to them.

Here’s the 18 minute 9/18/25 monologue, which covers Trump’s honoring Robert E. Lee followed by Jimmy Kimmel stuff, and then Trump in England being questioned about the ambassador to the US, who was fired due to his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Trump conveniently said he didn’t know who he was even though he was with him just 9 days ago in the WH:

Hey mc,

I already said that the murder was wrong and said that about political based violence in general. Also, I feel celebrating the murder is a bad thing to do despite my negative feelings about things he’s said and done.

Regardless, I’d like to know why you’re calling Kirk “really great”. What makes him that way to you? I thought he was a spreader of hatred due to being racist, sexist, homophobic, and Islamophobic. So, I don’t think he was great at all. Of course, if one is white, male, straight, and Christian, that may not matter to someone without empathy for the affected groups.
