However, this below is NUTS! Revoking Visas because students express a very legit, HUMANITARIAN position?
The same exact one that I've expressed here hundreds of times but even if I disagreed with the opinion, she makes rock solid points in support of people that are being extremely persecuted (genocide) because of their nationality.
Who deports people because they represent ethics, honor, truth and have the courage to speak out about an ongoing atrocity?
This is REALLY WRONG!

Somebody, please tell me what's so wrong about this opinion that it causes their Visa to be revoked??? "Thou shalt not criticize Israel"
This is the op-ed:

In this case, the “systemic changes” that the collective voice of the student body is calling for are for the University to end its complicity with Israel insofar as it is oppressing the Palestinian people and denying their right to self-determination — a right that is guaranteed by international law. These strong lobbying tools are all the more urgent now given the order by the International Court of Justice confirming that the Palestinian people of Gaza’s rights under the Genocide Convention are under a “plausible” risk of being breached.
Hey Mike,
The key to me is whether or not she was openly supporting Hamas. I see no evidence of that at this time. Based on that, her Visa shouldn’t have been revoked.
Agreed, Larry!
Sometimes people against the genocide in Gaza are wrongly accused of supporting Hamas.
